On October 10th, Rain updated his fans on ‘D-1′, the final day before his army enlistment.
After putting up a photo, Rain wrote, “I guess such is my life even until the day before I have to enlist. I visited my mother’s grave before going to edit the recordings from my concert.  It will air through Mnet the night after I enlist.  I ask that you all catch it live.” 

Rain performed at his final concert, ‘Last of the Best‘, yesterday at the ‘Kangnam Hallyu Festival‘.  He will be enlisting on October 11th as an active duty soldier.

Rain meets his fans before entering the military 0

Rain, famous actor and singer, is meeting his fans before entering the military next day.
He is standing on the stage of ‘Kangnam Hanryu Festival,’ which will take place on the 9th, and performing for the last time before entering the military.
Participating in Busan International Film Festival, finishing up his schedules as an actor, this is his last schedule as a singer before his military service. On the stage he will talk about his feelings about entering the military.
This festival was about to be foundered because of the limited conditions such as traffic but changed its place and is finally opening on the 9th.
‘Kangnam Hanryu Festival’ was planned to be opened in Dosan main road but was about to be foundered because the police disapproved its opening due to the expected traffic jam and safety reasons.
The festival was achieved by Rain who had suggested a free performance for revitalization of Kangnam since May. The opening stage will be filled with 2-hour long performances.

He tweeted,

"Doong ah Happy Birthday. Our Doongie is a tall, nice high school student when i first met and now you became a very cool man. Our maknae i love you ^^ your gift ~~ Hyung will give you before I enlist hehe"

Cheondung replied,

Rain to host a final concert before his enlistment 0

Global superstar Rain recently plunged his fans into despair by announcing that he’d be joining the Korean army on October 11th. He tried to soften the blow by going on a nationwide tour, as well as releasing a new single. While many expected that he’d be spending his remaining free time quietly, it seems that he has one last present to show his fans – on October 9th, Rain will be hosting a free finale concert at the Gangnam Hallyu Festival, free of charge!

  

“Rain, who is an ambassador for Gangnam, requested a free concert in the city to meet with his fans prior to his enlistment,” said a representative for the festival. “He has been preparing for this concert, even trying to push back his enlistment date.”

The outdoor concert is expected to draw fans from across the country as well as out-of-state, and will partially shut down a major 14-lane artery for the duration of the concert. Rain plans to awe the audience with a powerful string of performances that will cover his 10-year career.

“I’m very happy that I will get the chance to meet the fans before I enlist,” Rain said. “I was able to do many things thanks to everyone’s love, and I was genuinely happy because of it.”

Meanwhile, Rain posted a picture of the concert poster to his Twitter days before the event, saying, “It’s going to be my first streetside concert~ thanks to Seoul City for closing down the streets for me”.

Rain expresses his deep, sincere gratitude toward his fans 0

At 9:30 on September 25, Rain tweeted a photo with the comment: “I’ve held about 120 times of concert for the past ten years. My particular thanks to all the fans who have attended the concerts. I’m pleased to finish tonight’s performance with a success. I love you guys.”

Rain Announces Official Enlistment Date 0

Finally the date for Rain's enlistment has been revealed.
Jung Ji Honn will join the army on October 11 leaving the stage for two years.
On September 23rd, the Office of Military Manpower Administration has given him the final notice for his enlistment including the date for it.
However he will say goodbye to his fans during two concerts on the 24th and 25th at the Seoul Olympic Park. As well Rain will also release his new movie "Soar: Close to the Sun".
His enlistment date is acutally two days after MBLAQ's second year anniversary and it will surely make Clouds pretty sad, but two years are not too long if they show their support and love while waiting for him.
