Eunjung of T-ara’s condition has improved 0

T-ara’s Ham Eunjung, who recently fell off a horse while shooting jTBC’s series Queen Insoo, said her condition has improved.

On November 15, Ham appeared at jTBC’s briefing about scheduling programs, and she looked healthy.
She smiled and said, “I received first aid and my condition has improved considerably.”

Ham plays the role of young Insoo in the series. Even though she had an accident while shooting the series, she looked happy to be in a historical series. Ham said, “I wanted to play the role because veteran actress Chae Si Ra plays the role of adult Insoo.”

The series is about the Queen Insoo, who dreamed to become the lord paramount in the Joseon Dynasty. The first episode of the series will air on December 3 at 9:00 p.m.

On We Got Married, T-ara’s Eunjung feels jealousy 0

T-ara’s Eunjung didn’t hide her jealousy, being sensitive to her virtual husband Lee Jang Woo’s attention.
On We Got Married, which aired on the 22^nd, Lee and Eunjung attended yoga class.

T-ara’s Eunjung released a photo of herself with Chae Si Ra at her first practice for jTBC drama Queen Insoo.
Chae Si Ra and Eunjung took the photo on the 14th at a wedding hall during the practice for their new drama. Eunjung was cast in the role of young queen Insoo, which will be played by Chae Si Ra as a grown-up queen Insoo later. It was reported that they seemed like sisters at the practice.
Eunjung said, “I’m currently going to Dongkuk University which is also a school of Chae Si Ra, so I’ll try my best to learn acting from her with a great respect. I’ll do well on Queen Insoo. Also please give us lots of support and interest for T-ara’s comeback album which will be released in November.”

Queen Insoo is a historical drama about prince Sooyang’s daughter-in-law who desires to become a queen. The drama is planning to intensely describe conflicts and agonies of three women in the royal family. It stars Kim Mi Sook, Kim Young Ho, and Jin Ji Hee, besides Chae Si Ra and Eunjung.
It is written by Jung Ha Yeon who previously wrote KBS Queen Myeongseong and directed by producer Lee Tae Gon who previously directed MBC The Last Scandal of My Life. With total 50 episodes, it will be first aired in December.

On WE GOT MARRIED which aired on October 1, Eunjung and Lee Jang Woo shot  JIA’s music video “The Way I Am.”
Eunjung was worried about Lee since he was shooting the wire action scene for three hours. He must have been exhausted. In the interview, she revealed her concern about him. On this interview scene, Eunjung’s cute perm drew lots of attention.
People responded: “She looks like a doll.” “Her hairs caught my eyes rather than her remarks.” “Your perm is so cute.”

T-ara’s Eunjung gets cast in historical drama, “The King’s Mother” 0

T-ara‘s Eunjung will be returning to the small screen with yet another historical drama! It’s just been revealed that Eunjung was recently cast for jTBC‘s upcoming drama, ‘The King’s Mother‘.

This will mark her second historical drama, as she briefly starred in KBS’s ‘King Geunchogo‘ in the past. On October 7th, Eunjung stated, “After I read the synopsis for the drama, it seemed really fun and exciting, so I really wanted to give it a try.”

Eunjung will be playing the younger version of actress Chae Shi Ra. The 50-episode drama will center around the power struggle between three women hoping to become the next queen. Directed by PD Lee Tae Gon, the script was written by Jung Ha Yeon.

T-ara Sets a New Record By Topping Oricon Weekly Singles Chart 0

T-ara has set a new record through their Japanese debut last September. The group’s Japanese debut single “Bo Peep Bo Peep” has placed first in the popular Japanese Oricon weekly charts.

Last October 4, it was published through Japanese media that, "T-ara's 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' placing number one on the daily charts on it's release day and on the weekly singles charts on it's debut week is a first for a foreign group and an international female artist ever in history."

Regarding this success, T-ara released their statement saying "Hello, this is T-ara! Our debut single 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' ranked one on Oricon because of your support! We're very very thankful! Sincerely, thank you so much! We hope we can continue to be loved in the future and please continue to support T-ara! Thank you!"

DBSK’s latest Japanese album, “TONE,” has also ranked first in the Oricon albums chart. This week is a milestone for both DBSK and T-ara because it is the first time that Korean groups have simultaneously placed first in the singles and album charts of Oricon.

T-ara is currently promoting “Bo Peep Bo Peep” in Japan. “Bo Peep Bo Peep” placed first in the Oricon daily singles chart when it was released last September 28. The group is also slated to make a comeback in Korea on November 1.

T-ara Eunjung being considered for historical drama 0

Girl group T-ara member Eunjung is being considered for a role in a new historical drama.

An official with her agency Core Contents Media told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday that Eunjung has been asked to play Joseon Dynasty's Queen Sohye in the series tentatively titled "Queen Insu."

However, the official said it "will not be easy to decide on doing the show" due to T-ara's upcoming activities in Korea and Japan -- they recently made a debut in Japan and are set to release a new album in Korea in early November.

If Eunjung takes on the role she will play a young Queen Sohye while actress Chae Shi-ra is said to have been asked to play the queen of when she is older.

Queen Sohye, also known as Queen Insu, was the mother of Seongjong, the ninth king of the Joseon Dynasty.

The drama, set to show on JoongAng Ilbo's new general programming cable channel jTBC in early December, will revolve around Queen Sohye's life.

Eunjung, 23, is not new to the acting scene, having made her debut as a child actor in the early 1990s.

She has displayed her acting skills in various roles ever since including in SBS TV series "Coffee House" (2010), KBS' music drama "Dream High" (2011) and films "Death Bell" (2008) and "White" (2011).

She has also appeared in two historical dramas so far including SBS series "The Land" in 2005 and KBS series "The King of Legend" this year.
