IU’s “You & I” is earning tremendous popularity and ranking no.1 on social music chart as well as real-time chart.
According to the music site Monkey3, IU’s “You & I” is ranking no. 1 on its social music chart which ranks songs by calculating statistics of netizens’ preference.
“You & I” is placed at the top of the real-time chart as well, and IU’s other songs such as “Secret,” “Star-seeking Child,” and “Wisdom Tooth” are also ranked at high rankings.
The director of music enterprise department of Monkey 3 Lee Jung Kyu says, “As soon as IU’s second album was released at the midnight of November 29, all of her songs spread on the Internet rapidly and are now placed in high rankings on social and real-time charts. This confirms IU’s ‘power.’ Particularly, ‘You & I’ is ranking no.1 on the social music chart since so many people love the song.”
IU released the teaser of “You & I” through SBS’s Inkigayo on the 27th of November and Melon.com.
