Attending the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) for the first time, JYJ’s Park Yoochun was seen enjoying the night at Busan.
The 16th BIFF opened on 6 October , and Yoochun was seen near Busan’s Haewondae, eating with friends at a nearby restaurant, with the atmosphere for the film festival in full force. He was also joined by Ji Sung, who had just completed the drama “Protect the Boss,” and they had a good time together.

On 7 October, Yoochun together with his group members Junsu and Jaejoong, will be appearing at the Star Road event, but Yoochun arrived in Busan a day earlier than his members.
Yoochun, Junsu and Jaejoong will be joining the Star Road event, walking the red carpet and appearing as actors at their first BIFF.

The three members have already participated in dramas and musicals, and have now paved their way as actors, and that probably makes this event even more meaningful to them.

(News) TVXQ Was Moved To Tears In Fan Meeting And Showed Their Newly Learnt Beijing Slang‏ 0

TVXQ’s “TVXQ! Asia Fan Party 2011 In Beijing” was held on 2nd of October, 7.30pm at Beijing Worker’s Gymnasium and this fan meet marks the premiere stage for Asian fans. That night, Jung Yunho and Shim Changmi took the stage with “Maximum”. In the midst of it, fan made videos touched Shim Changmin and Jung Yunho. They also learnt Beijing slang and used “Gei Li” (T/N: Be in supportive and do one’s best) and “You Mu You” (T/N: Cute version of “Isn’t it?”) to create sentences which created uproar within the fans. Jung Yunho and Shim Changmin also expressed that fans were considered as a member of TVXQ.

TVXQ performed their new and old songs, with fans creating the magnificent red ocean
It was a sold out night at Beijing Worker’s Gymnasium and was fully seated by 7pm. The only regret is that the fan meet ended on 9pm. The punctual appearances of Jung Yunho and Shim Changmin immediately set the fans screaming non-stop. The opening number was “Maximum” and both Jung Yunho and Shim Changmin appeared in white checkered suits. Jung Yunho who was dancing in a deep v-neck top was a bonus eye candy. The duo followed on with their best effort performing both new and old songs for the audiences, including “How Can I”, “Before You Go”, “The Way You Are”, “Mirotic”, “Rising Sun”, “Why (Keep Your Head Down)”.

The dedicated performances by Jung Yunho and Shim Changmin gained fans’ enormous support. The thousands of fans were armed with two red light sticks, painting the Worker’s Gymnasium in red ocean. Each time TVXQ did a handsome action, the red ocean will be waving and screaming away, in fact the whole fan meet was in screams.

Interesting Q & A about Chinese culture and showed their newly learnt Beijing slang
After the dances, Jung Yunho and Shim Changmin chatted with the host about Chinese culture. The host asked TVXQ if the official city flower for Beijing is chrysanthemum and if the human flow is 15million etc. Upon talking on whether Beijing slang is a dialect, the smarty Jung Yunho replied that he heard Beijing slang before and the “er” tone is very strong, thus it should be a dialect.

Jung Yunho followed on by showing off his newly learnt Beijing slang and expressed his feelings to his fans with “I am very happy today.” (T/N: He used the “er” tone for “today”.) He continued to understand another local slang and made a sentence with “Gei Li”, “Beijing fans are very supportive, Chinese fans are very supportive.” Changmin also shyly said, “I am handsome, isn’t it?” (T/N: He uses the “You Mu You”.) It gained the thunderous acknowledgement to his proclamation.

Jung Yunho revealed that he hope to visit China in the future for leisure and he ever visited the Great Wall of China for work. He even said that he watched “Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger” before and thought the sceneries in it were beautiful and wish to visit there. He also hopes for the chance to meet fans in Beijing again and would like to know China more for his fans.

TVXQ was moved to tears by fans and said that fans were considered as a member of TVXQ.
TVXQ’s fans prepared a special gift for the duo and it was two fan made videos. In one of the video, the fan drew the manga herself and another fan produced a video titled, “He and his thumbs-up story”. After the two videos were played, many fans were crying and Shim Changmin was seen continuously wiping his tears in the corner of his eyes away. The host expressed that both of them had teary eyes now. Shim Changmin expressed that having such fans gave them to gain strength and confidence.

The organizer had collected questions from the fans previously and there was a fan who asked about the status of Chinese fans in TVXQ. Jung Yunho said that he always feel apologetic towards Chinese fans and that Chinese fans were as though a member of TVXQ. Jung Yunho self revealed that the present from Chinese fans that was the most special was a bottle of sorghum liquor. He tried a mouthful and felt that it was much stronger than Korean liquor.

(News) JYJ's First Korean Album: 8 Songs Out Of 10 Are Self-Composed 0

The group JYJ has recorded their Korean songs into an album [In Heaven] and released it. JYJ is an idol group formed together by the ex-members of TVXQ - Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu. Although they released their worldwide album [The Beginning] last year, in which they sang English songs, this is their first Korean album. As JYJ is in the midst of a contract dispute with their previous management SM Entertainment, records distribution companies have shown their disapproval in the release of their album.

The explosive popularity garnered by their Korean album has put an end to their troubles. Just the initial orders alone reached 300,000 copies and JYJ's album was launched in record stores with its own cash registers. During a press conference held on the 30th of the previous month, JYJ said, "While preparing the album, we came to understand how important it was that our fans are able to listen to our songs."

Out of the 10 songs in this album, 8 of the songs are self-composed by the members. They were directly involved even in the operational stages.

"Although we are still inexperienced in perfecting it, because we personally worked together to create this album, there's a lot of attachment to it." (Yoochun)

"We don't simply want to record all our self-composed songs. Our goal is to continue to release good songs." (Junsu)

The genres and sounds are also plentiful. The title track [In Heaven] and the song [Fallen Leaves] are heartrending ballads but the album is also overflowing with tracks filled with dance rhythms like [Mission] and [I.D.S], which are worthy of an idol group.

"There are a diverse number of genres because I wrote the songs according to how I felt that day. Even now I want to work (at composing) like crazy!" (Jaejoong)

JYJ will start touring Europe at the end of this month. They will hold the first ever solo concerts by Korean singers in Spain, Barcelona (29 Oct) and Germany, Berlin (6 Nov). They said, "It would be great if our European fans could sing our songs together with us."

[News] 110929 KBS reviews JYJ’s “In Heaven” album and deems “Pierrot” and “Mission” ineligible for broadcasting 0

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
KBS just finished their review of JYJ’s 1st Korean studio album “In Heaven” on September 28th. Nearly all of JYJ’s tracks passed KBS’s reviews except two, “Pierrot” and “Mission.” The two songs were deemed ineligible for broadcasting.
The broadcasting company states that the lyrics to the track “Pierrot” are inappropriate because they are a personal attack to SM Entertainment’s Lee Sooman. The lyrics read, “There is nothing ahead of money, you are a complete pro. Properly p.s.m.”
During the process hearing, KBS stated that the lyrics “p.s.m” from JYJ’s “Pierrot” can only be understood as President Sooman, which gives off the impression of their personal attack towards the SM Entertainment CEO. JYJ is currently undergoing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Therefore, “Pierrot” was deemed ineligible for broadcasting due to it being a song that “holds a grudge against someone.”
An official representing JYJ told Star News on September 29th, “KBS has arbitrarily interpreted ‘p.s.m.’ without going through the verification procedures. They are not a deliberate attack towards anyone. You have to understand the lyricist’s intentions with a bit more effort.”

He continued with, “The written lyrics aren’t intended for any one person. It questions society as a whole. The target was not written towards a specific person.”
The lyricist of the song “Pierrot,” Kim Jaejoong, can request a reconsideration and submit an explanation of what the lyrics mean to reverse KBS’s ruling.
“Pierrot” has been questioned ever since it’s release. Last November at the Jamsil Stadium during JYJ’s concert, reporters present asked Jaejoong about the song, to which he replied, “It is a song written to educate on the reality and to express the anger for the suppressed freedom.”
A few minutes ago, Jaejoong tweeted on the matter and said, “The one thing that I’m curious about despite having had no sleep for 33 hours.. who thought of “president” for p..? And everything that comes afterward as well.”

In addition, JYJ’s “Mission” has the lyrics “So f*** off no more talk,” and due to the swearing involved, did not pass KBS’s review for broadcasting. However, JYJ’s remaining songs on the album “Nine,” “In Heaven,” and “The Boy’s Letter,” were all deemed eligible for broadcasting on KBS’s networks.
JYJ is still waiting on broadcasting verification from television companies MBC and SBS.
