World famous producer and DJ Diplo recently praised 2NE1.
Diplo co-produced Beyonce’s Run the World and he worked with British musician MIA. He recently posted a note about 2NE1 on his homepage.
He said, “2NE1 is very charismatic group. They are super heroes who have huge K-pop fans. Their unique electro-hip hop songs entered the US charts as well.”
Diplo also worked with GD & TOP and showed big interest in K-pop. He gave joint performance with GD & TOP last summer.
2NE1 was voted for the ‘Best New Band in the World’ by MTV IGGY.
Over 4 million people from 168 countries voted for their favorite band and 2NE1 won the first place. The group was followed by British Ghostpoet, Jamaican Gyptian, American Skrillex, and Malaysian Yuna.
