Kim Tae Hee attracted attention from Japanese press with her fluent Japanese.
According to Sankei Sports on the 9th, Kim Tae Hee had a press interview before the first episode of Fuji TV’s Me and My Star’s 99 Days was aired.
At the interview, Kim Tae Hee expressed her interest in Japan saying, “I have visited Japan more than 30 times so far and I am very interested in Japan. That’s why I decided to do this drama.”She also said, “I wish I can continue my activities in Japan. I think Japan is culturally very similar to Korea, so if both countries make dramas together it will be great. I wish I can be part of it through this drama,” denying the rumors that she had bad feelings about Japan.
Sankei Sports also reported that she stood well with Japanese press by talking about her experiences such as her family trip and several visits to Japan with her Japanese exchange student friend.
Me and My Star’s 99 Days is a love story of Korean famous actress Han Yoona (played by Kim Tae Hee) and her bodyguard (played by Nishijima Hidetoshi).
