According to Sankei Sports on the 9th, Kim Tae Hee recently interviewed with Japanese press, and at the interview, she talked about her impression of new activities in Japan and the rumors that she was against Japan, which some of netizens brought forward.
Kee Tae Hee, made a contract with Japanese popular actress Horikita Maki’s agency Sweet Power, was cast in the lead role of Fuji TV’s new drama Me and My Star’s 99 days, which will be aired on every Sunday at 9pm from the 23rd of this month.
Kim Tae Hee said, “I have visited Japan more than 30 times so far and love Japanese novels and movies. I think it is a great thing that I act in a foreign language since it is still hard for me to act in my own language. I am very interested in Japan and its culture.”
She continued, “I wish to continue my activities in Japan. Since both countries are culturally very similar to each other, I wish they can make good dramas and movies together. I also love several work of Japanese writers such as Ekuni Gaori and Murakami Haruki.”
In the drama, Kim Tae Hee is playing Korean’s famous actress Han Yoona. Her bodyguard, who falls in love with her while she is staying in Japan for 99 days of filming, is played by Nishijima Hidetoshi. This drama is expected to tell a story about love which seems close but yet far.
It is also said that 2PM’s Taec Yeon is also appearing in this drama. He is playing the role of mysterious man Taesung, who have secrets that eventually affect the actress Han Yoona and her bodyguard.
